What do I need in order to use Diktuon?


A PC with a minimum Pentium 100Mhz processor, minimum 64Mb RAM memory, one of the following versions of Windows: 95, 98, 98SE, NT4, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, and about 10Mb disk space.

How much does Diktuon cost and what do I get?


You can use a trial version of Diktuon for 30 days without any restrictions. After this period you can either purchase it or remove it. Diktuon costs Euro 119,- of which 10% is donated to charity. You are entitled to free support (for example with importing your data) and future upgrades.

How do I purchase and pay?


You can pay online by credit card. You will receive your activation code by email. Click here to start your purchase.

Is there a maximum storage in Diktuon?


No, there is no maximum. The space on your hard drive is the only limit. With average use (for example 5.000 books, 2.500 contacts and 1 year of appointments) the database will only be about 5Mb. The database file can grow much bigger without compromising performance. Above 50Mb the performance may gradually decrease but there is no real limit to the size of the database.

What can I do with my existing data?


Diktuon can import data from any other software. The software includes a number of standard import functions (e.g. Baruch, Outlook, Excel, CSV files) and we can also help registered users with one-off conversions of data. We have already done conversions from Baruch, ISP, OpenSjamar, Ecclesia, WP, Word, Excel, Works, KeyNote, AskSam. Diktuon can read virtually any file format!

Can Diktuon exchange details with other software?


You can directly exchange details with Baruch, Outlook, Excel, text files, and you can download your data to your PDA (Pocket PC of Palm).

Is the data in Diktuon secure?


Yes, absolutely. Diktuon uses robust and modern database technology. This ensures that the database file cannot become corrupt or damaged. And you can also protect Diktuon with a password.
